For a notification to be effective under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), it should contain substantially the following information:

Historical and Third-Party Material

Aircraft Reports provides access to a substantial body of historical aviation documentation originating from different periods and sources.

The presence of a historical publication in our catalogue does not necessarily mean that Sicuro Publishing Inc. claims ownership of the underlying work.

If a notification concerns historical, government, military, manufacturer or other third-party material, Aircraft Reports may request additional information concerning the claimant's ownership or authority to act, the specific work involved, and the basis of the infringement claim.

Nothing in this notice limits any rights or remedies available under applicable law.

Counter-Notifications

Where applicable under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, a person whose material has been removed or access to which has been disabled may submit a counter-notification to the designated copyright agent containing the information required by applicable law.

Upon receipt of a legally sufficient counter-notification, Aircraft Reports will follow the procedures required by applicable law.

Important

Submitting a copyright notification is a legal process. A person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability under applicable law.

Aircraft Reports does not determine copyright ownership merely from the presence of a copyright notice, publication date, historical marking or other notation appearing on a document.
